Boating/Fishing/Swimming/Watersports

See amenities page for equipment that we provide, including a Bennington pontoon boat and a fishing boat.
Note: The towable pictured here does not belong to us - and is therefore not included with the rental. The picture was just too good not to include somewhere! We do have very nicetowable tubes (round style) available for your use. The pontoon is not to be used for towing of any kind.

- We can recommend some top-notch courses within an hour's drive if you are interested (Hayward, Spooner, Rice Lake, etc).
Canoeing/Kayaking

Paddle on the lake itself or take a 10 minute drive to the world famous Bois Brule River! There are multiple sections of river that you can take, between 45 minutes and 2 days total trip time. We've taken them all and can be a resource in your trip planning. See amenities page for equipment that we provide.
Yard Games
Our two family favorites are cornhole and ladder golf. We've got a custom made set of each game. We've also got a bocce ball set and badminton.
Hitting the Town
It's not a huge village, but you can have fun at the two bars or the Dairy Queen (the oldest DQ in Wisconsin)! There are events happening throughout the summer around the Auditorium as well.
Hiking/Snowshoeing
We recommend the North Country trail, which stretches from New York to North Dakota, for which there are muliple trailheads within a 10 minute drive of Lake Nebagamon. Otherwise the lake itself is great for snowshoeing during the winter. We've also enjoyed geocaching around the Lake Nebagamon area.
Biking
Want a challenge? Ride around the lake, 13 miles total. There are a lot of hills! See amenities page for equipment that we provide.
Also, within 30 minutes of multiple trailheads of the CAMBA mountain bike off-road trail system - supposedly one of the best in the Midwest!

Tennis
Nice tennis courts in the town of Lake Nebagamon. See amenities page for equipment that we provide.
Downhill Skiing
Great skiing available at Spirit Mountain in Duluth. We can get major discounts on lift tickets to Spirit Mountain. Ski country in the UP of Michigan is about an hour and 15 minutes down the road as well.
Snowmobiling/ATV'ing

Snowmobile right out of the driveway to the trails! Douglas and Bayfield Counties are among the top trail systems in the nation. By sled, it is 8 miles of groomed trail to Brule, WI, which is a familiar spot to many. We can be a reference in your trip planning as we log a lot of miles each year.
